Congress of African Professionals
The African Biographical Centre sponsors the Congress of African Professionals, which is organised by African Network of Professionals as the membership arm of African Biographical Centre.
The Congress of African Professionals is an annual event, which serves as a platform for African Professionals to coordinate and mutually share their ideas and accomplishments, and to address the economic, professional, social and ethnic barriers hindering them as professionals from this part of the world.
The 2010 Congress of African Professionals billed to be held at the International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana, March 03 - 05 in Western Africa was put off indefinitely for logistics reasons.
The Congress proper will now hold in 2021, October 26 - 28, in Abuja, Nigeria. A Pre-Congress Workshop will take place October 25 prior to the Congress proper.
The Congress theme is "Professionalism in Africa: Problems and Prospects" with sub-themes as 'Continuing Professional Development in Africa' and 'Intellectual Property Management for African Professionals'. The congress has many tracks to accommodate every profession.
The Congress will include technical programmes, social activities and business exhibitions.
